The Oakhurst Neighborhood Association (ONA) seeks to fund activities and service projects that support neighborly interactions, and benefit our neighborhood and its residents. Common requests for grants include neighborhood parades & block parties. These grants may be awarded up to $150 per event/group within a calendar year. The application form for a block party/parade grant may be found below.
For all other grants, please use the ONA grant form found below. In past years, service projects have been awarded $100 – $500 grants depending on budget and other factors.
For your project to be considered for a grant you must submit an application six weeks prior to your event. Grant recipients are required to volunteer in support of an Oakhurst Neighborhood Association event within 12 months of receiving the grant. The volunteer commitment is calculated as (1) hour of volunteer time for every $25 of grant received.
